Rain disrupts Osogbo rally for Yoruba nation after Sunday Igboho’s speech

Heavy downpour on Saturday in Osogbo, Osun State capital disrupted the rally at the Nelson Mandela Freedom Park where agitators gathered to demand Yoruba nation.

It began to rain as soon as activist Sunday Adeyemo alias Sunday Igboho stepped down from the podium.

Speaking at the rally, the activist demanded the release of operatives of the Oodua Peoples Congress who are being detained for arresting notorious Fulani herder Iskilu Wakili in the Ibarapa area of Oyo State.

The venue of the rally was heavy with the presence of policemen as well as operatives of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps.

Men of the Amotekun were also at the venue.
