Prophet Racine absent at SCOAN Sunday service

Evelyn Joshua and Prophet Racine

Prophet Racine Bousso was absent at the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) Sunday service on January 9, 2022.

It was the first time he was not in the Lagos-based church for Sunday service since the church reopened in 2021 after a 21-month COVID-19 enforced closure.

Racine however posted on Instastory updates on the church’s activities to show that although he was not physically present he was with them in spirit. The reason for his absence was not immediately clear.

The prophet, who was one of the wise men of the church’s late founder Prophet TB Joshua, has been an integral part of the post-Joshua era in SCOAN.

He posted the title of the sermon ‘God’s involvement makes the difference’ delivered by the leader of the church Pastor Evelyn, Joshua’s widow.

Reading from Mark 2:2-5, Evelyn said, “In the world today, mankind has countless wishes and desires to suit the philosophy of what a good life means to them. Do not be satisfied with your spiritual life. Whenever you think you have arrived, think again.”

She added, “When God is involved in your matter, it does not matter who else is involved, because He is watching out for you.”

After the sermon, the Emmanuel TV choir took the floor in praises to God. Then it was time for the ministration of the new anointing water.

In the absence of Prophet Racine, Evelyn was joined on the pulpit for the mass prayer session by evangelists James and Chisom.

“Let your sin be forgiven, in the name of Jesus! Whatever has been planted in your life through sin, it shall be uprooted now in the name of Jesus. You sickness, I call you by your name; I command you out, in the name of Jesus!” James prayed.

As always, one of Joshua’s prayer clips was played and the congregation echoed ‘amen’.

Evelyn, dressed in a colourful gown, ended the service with the Grace.
