A heartbroken fuji music maestro, K1 de Ultimate, also known as KWAM1, on Wednesday publicly mourned his daughter, Wasilat, who died a day earlier in Canada.

Wasilat, 34, according to her father, died after battling with an undisclosed ailment.

In a heart wrenching message uploaded to Instagram, the 60-year-old wrote that he would never forget the day his daughter was born and the day she died.

The message accompanied a video of Wasilat during her Walimatul Quran several years ago.

Former Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Fashola, attended the ceremony during which the celebrant was sprayed with a lot of money.

Thanking God for the privilege to be Wasilat’s father and friend, K1 disclosed that medical treatments and prayers could not stop death from taking his daughter away.

“Allah Subhanalahi Watahala wants you around him in his PARADISE and I totally submit to that and never question him God for doing that,” the bereaved father wrote.

K1 added that he is comforted by his daughter’s knowledge of the Holy Quran and that that is testimony “that you truly served your God whom you knew too well inside and outside.”

The music icon then launched into his family’s oriki (praise poetry) before thanking “friends, fans, family and all associates across the globe” for standing by him.
