Pray for my movie, Deyemi Okanlawon tells Pastor Jimmy Odukoya

Actor Deyemi Okanlawon has asked his friend and lead pastor of The Fountain of Life Church Jimmy Odukoya to pray for his forthcoming film All’s Fair in Love.

The Eleshin Oba star made the request in the comment section a of video Jimmy posted on his Instagram account on Wednesday in which the pastor prayed for Nigeria’s Super Eagles as they take on the Bafana Bafana of South Africa for a place in the final at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Cote d’Ivoire.

“My dear AFCON Pastor-bestie-brother-friend-supporter… I just say make I remind you say I dey wait make you do prayer plus influencer video,” he wrote.

The film, produced by Deyemi, will be released in the cinema on February 14.

It features Deyemi, Lateef Adedimeji, Timini Egbuson, Juliet Ibrahim, Beauty Tukura, Venita Akpofure, Kunle Bamtefa, Gbubemi Ejeye, Kenzy Udosen, Oprah Okereke and Timilehin Ojeola.

All’s Fair in Love is the actor’s first project since he announced that he will no longer work as an actor for other filmmakers because he wants to start producing his movies.

The movie star was named the grossing actor in 2021 and 2022, according to the list compiled by the Nigerian Box Office.

He has been featured in movies such as Blood Sister, Sista, The Wait, Love in a Pandemic, The Wildflower, Jolly Roger, Omo Ghetto: The Saga, Swallow and Prophetess.
