Praiz dedicates AFRIMA award to OAPs, DJs, others

X3M Music artiste Praiz has dedicated his victory at the 2018 All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) to on-air personalities, disk jockeys and broadcast stations that played his winning song.

The 34-year-old was declared winner of the best artiste, duo or group in African R&B and soul category for his song ‘Champagne and Flowers’ at the award ceremony held in Ghana on Saturday.

In an Instagram message on Tuesday, the singer thanked those who “played the hell” out of the song.

“Thank you for the unwavering love and support! I remain humbled,” he declared.

Other Nigerian 2018 AFRIMA winners are Davido, 2Baba, Falz, Tiwa Savage, Mr Eazi and Mr P.

Davido won the biggest award on the continent as he was declared artiste of the year for his song ‘Fia’.
