The grand finale of the All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) was held at the Eko Convention Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos on Sunday with Governor Akinwunmi Ambode and his wife, Bolanle, as chief hosts.
Nigerian pop star, Wizkid, was named artiste of the year, with Aramide, Niniola, Phyno, Flavour, Patoranking and Falz also doing the country proud.
Fuji music maestro, King Sunny Ade, was given a special recognition award.
