The defendants, Zulai Samila, 35, Solomon Kuwha, 30, and Ezekiel Shita, 35, are standing trial on two-count charge.

The Prosecutor, Zannan Dalhatu, told the court that Zulai Samila reported the matter at the Life Camp Police Station on March 8.

The complainant alleged that on the said date, the defendants threw her properties out of her room and her N135, 000 cash got missing.

During the police investigation, it was discovered that all the allegations against them were false and they were asked to return home and maintain the peace.

Dalhatu said that when they got home, they started fighting themselves, disturbing the peace of the neighbourhood.

The offences contravened Sections 79 and 113 of the Penal Code.

The defendants, however, pleaded not guilty to the offences

The Judge, Alhaji Abubakar Sadiq, granted them bail of N10, 000 and one surety each in like sum.

He said that the sureties must present utility bill and adjourned the case until April 9 for hearing.
