Singer Paul Okoye has tested positive for coronavirus disease (COVID-19) and is on the road to recovery.

The 39-year-old shared a picture of himself and a brief story of his experience so far in an Instagram post on Tuesday.

He said Coronavirus is the worst sickness ever and it has been dealing with him for 10 days.

“ATTENTION!!! Covid is REAL !!! I know as typical Nigerian or African is very hard to believe some will say “experience is the best teacher oh well.

“The experience and the teacher has visited me and they’ve been dealing with me for more than 10days now is not funny,” he wrote.

Paul also advised his fans to be careful and avoid the sickness.

“y’all better be careful out there if you like believe me , if you like don’t believe me you can as well wait for your own experience by playing ignorance,” he wrote.

Peter Okoye, twin brother of Paul, had also tested positive for Coronavirus in June, 2020.

He announced it in two videos he shared on Instagram.

“For the past twelve weeks, I have been sick… I had COVID-19 for about three weeks. …The reason why I decided to come out and say it is to encourage a lot of people concerning social distancing… It wasn’t just me, my daughter, wife, two of my domestic staff… I am happy to announce that all of us are now negative…,” he said.
