Veteran actor Patrick Doyle’s wife, Funmilayo Doyle, has shared a social media post following the death of their newborn daughter.
Funmilayo posted a throwback photo of herself from last year on her Instagram Story on Tuesday without a caption, days after the loss.
The couple had welcomed their first child together, a baby girl, last week. Patrick later confirmed that the child died less than 24 hours after birth, noting the brief time she spent with the family and the impact it had.
Funmilayo, who married Patrick after his divorce from actress Ireti Doyle, has not publicly addressed the development beyond the recent post.
Doyle and Ireti were married for several years before their separation became public in 2023. He later married Funmilayo in the same year.
The late child was the first between Doyle and his current wife.
