Pastors demanded sex when I asked them for help – Gloria Doyle

Gloria Doyle

Gospel singer, Gloria Doyle, has accused some pastors of demanding sex to help her in her time of need.

She said one even withdrew an invitation to travel to the United Kingdom because of her refusal.

The mother-of-three, who got married at 17 and left the marriage a few years after because of domestic violence, said she reached out to many people for help when things became too rough.

Among those she sought assistance from were clergymen who told her to trade her body for favour.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with QedTV (watch video below), the Edo-born singer said bishops and general overseers wanted to get between her legs.

She reencountered her experience with an unnamed pastor who now flies around in a private jet.

The first thing she said he asked when she got to his office is “who is sleeping with you?”

When she said no one, he answered that “if I am going to be your godfather, I must be the only one sleeping with you”.

A disappointed Gloria said, “and you see these people with their private jets and everything, and people are worshipping them”.

She added that “pastors have called me that we should be having phone sex”.

Her refusal, she said cost her a trip to for a programme in the United Kingdom.

A singer, actress and event planner, Gloria took a 15-year break from the entertainment industry to raise her children.

She released a song titled ‘Baba Na You’ in late 2017.

Another track, ‘Pray’, is scheduled for release in a matter of days.
