Pastor Taiwo Odukoya’s daughter shares video of siblings dancing at father’s funeral thanksgiving

Tolu Odukoya-Ijogun, daughter of the founding pastor of the Fountain of Life Church Taiwo Odukoya, on Wednesday shared a video of her self and siblings dancing at their father’s funeral thanksgiving on September 10.

Odukoya died on August 7 in the United States aged 67. He was buried on September 9.

In the video, Odukoya-Ijogun and her younger siblings are seen dancing as musician Dare sings.

Odukoya-Ijogun said in her caption for the post that they danced because they knew their father was in heaven.

“We danced because we know you are with your Father in heaven,” she wrote, “Taiwo Odukoya lived a good life; He lived a God-centred life… A life worth celebrating. Oh, we miss you, but we must continue in the way you taught us.

“The entire Fountain of Life church…Fountaineers!!!! Thank you all! We love you so much, and we felt your love and prayers towards us.”

She added that the body of Christ showed up for them and that it was humbling to receive calls and see so many people come to support them.

“My Sibs and I are grateful and have been entrusted to the Holy Spirit in the next season,” she added.

Odukoya-Ijogun and her siblings also ministered at the service of songs, funeral and thanksgiving.

They lost their mother Bimbo Odukoya in the 2005 Sosoliso plane crash.
