Pastor Evelyn Joshua on Sunday, May 7 held her first Sunday service at the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) in Lagos after her Spain crusade.

The crusade was held on April 28 and 29 but the SCOAN leader could not make it in time for the last Sunday of April. The church’s evangelists spearheaded the service.

However, on May 7, Evelyn was dressed in an ankara outfit for the service in Lagos.

Standing at the altar, she sang: “You are Alpha and Omega, We worship you, our Lord. You are worthy to be praised!”

The clergywoman cited Isaiah 41:10 and Philippians 4:6 and assured the people of God’s continued grace. “Father, we thank You for all you have done,” she prayed as she gives all the glory to God Almighty.

She asked for clips of day 2 of the crusade in Spain to be played, as well as the pastors’ conference that took place afterwards.

The clip showed Evangelist Joseph encouraging the people with the active faith displayed by the centurion in Luke 7:7.

“Active faith consists in being doers of the Word so that Jesus Christ can be brought to the scene instantly,” he said.

It also showed him quoting SCOAN founder Prophet TB Joshua: “Love your neighbour and do good to change the bad that you see.”

Evelyn’s message at the pastors’ conference in Spain was also displayed to the Lagos congregation. She read from Luke 22:39-43. “Without peace, you can’t serve God faithfully,” she said, adding prayerfully: “Your labour of love will not go in vain in Jesus’ name.”

At the Lagos church, Evelyn was joined by her trusted hands – evangelists Chisom, James, Joseph and Ope – for prayers.
