Members of Loveworld Ministries aka Christ Embassy in Oregun, Lagos visited the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) over the weekend to celebrate its founder Pastor Chris Oyakhilome’s birthday.

The RRS on Sunday shared photos of the visit to Twitter, noting that the church gave its officers free eyes and BP checks, free eye glasses and drugs.

“Some officers were also given referrals to the church’s eye clinic free of charge. They also assisted our workshop crews in doing their chores,” the squad tweeted.

In photos posted by the RRS, the members of the church are seen washing police vans and cars, cleaning the shoe of a policeman among others.

The RRS said it took the Christ Embassy team round its facilities and gave them useful security tips. “It was a memorable visit to the squad,” it said.

RRS commander Yinka Egbeyemi also said that the squad looks forward to reciprocating the gesture in the nearest future.

Oyakhilome clocked 59 on December 7.

Presidential candidate of the Labour Party Peter Obi was among those who congratulated Oyakhilome on his birthday.

Obi tweeted, “On behalf of my family, I most happily wish the founder and President of Loveworld Inc, also known as Christ Embassy, Dear Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, a happy birthday. You have remained consistent in preaching Christ to the world. You are an amazing and charismatic pastor.

“As you clock 59 years today, I thank God for the gift of you to the church and our nation, in particular. may God protect and bless you always with abundant health and happiness.”
