Osinbajo, Sanwo-Olu attend funeral of Adeboye’s secretary

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and Lagos State Governor-elect, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Tuesday attended the funeral of Enoch Adeboye’s secretary, Adetokunbo Olorunnimbe.

Olorunnimbe, who died on March 30 aged 60, was Adeboye’s chief of staff and chief private secretary.

Assistant General Overseer in charge of Training and Education at Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Ezekiel Odeyemi, said that Olorunnimbe was fond of making people laugh.

Sanwo-Olu, on his part, said that the deceased was a great man and lover of his family who served God for close to 40 years.

He added that he met Olorunnimbe on a few occasions and that the pastor was a man of peace.

The deceased’s wife, Modupe Olorunnimbe, said her husband had lived a fulfilled life and was ready to meet his creator.

Also, in a tribute, businessman and lawyer, Wale Babalakin, said he met the deceased many years ago and had a close relationship with him ever since.

Babalakin said he and the deceased met in high school and both also attended the University of Lagos and Cambridge.
