Omobola Johnson is my most precious sister – Awosika

Former chairman of First Bank of Nigeria Limited Ibukun Awosika has described technocrat Omobola Johnson as her “most precious sister and friend”.

Mrs Awosika said in a social media post on Wednesday in celebration of Mrs Johnson’s 60th birthday that the latter’s life has been impactful.

Johnson was the minister of communication technology in the cabinet of former President Goodluck Jonathan.

“Celebrating my most precious sister and friend, Dr Omobola Johnson nee Akinnola, brilliant, a true and impactful leader, living a life of constructive ambition with the highest integrity through private and public life,” Awosika wrote.

Johnson currently sits on the board of Guinness Nigeria Plc, MTN; and is the chairperson of Custodian and Allied Insurance Limited. She is also a senior partner with the Venture Capital Firm TLCOM.
