Super Eagles defender, Kenneth Omeruo, is relishing the rare privilege of dining with three of his country’s legends, Daniel Amokachi, Uche Okechukwu and Taribo West.

The three senior footballers were part of the golden generation of Nigerian football in which they stunned at the 1994 World Cup and won the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) the same year.

They were equally present as the country clinched their first gold medal at the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta, United States of America.

While Amokachi, famous for his goal scoring abilities has ventured into coaching, Okechukwu and West opted to stay away from the game.

Omeruo, who himself won the AFCON title 19 years after is currently on the payroll of Premier League champions, Chelsea.

He took to Instagram on Tuesday to recall his moment with the trio.

“Last week I had the opportunity to have dinner with these Legends.. your advice and encouragements is something I won’t forget,” the 23-year-old revealed.

Omeruo is currently in preseason with the Blues.

But once again, the versatile defender may be farmed out on loan.

Championship side, Wolverhampton Wanderers, is reportedly interested in the player.
