Omah Lay to remove Burna Boy from debut album following shooting at Lagos club

Singer, Stanley Omah, popularly known as Omah Lay, has hinted at removing Grammy Award-winning singer Burna Boy from his soon-to-be-released debut album Boy Alone following the shooting at a club in Lagos. reported the Lagos State Police Commissioner’s Special Squad detained five policemen attached to Burna Boy for attempted murder after they shot two clubbers Lawrence Irebami, the husband of a woman Burna Boy allegedly made sexual advances to and another identified simply as Tolu, at Club Cubana in Lagos on Wednesday.

Burna Boy has also been invited by the police for questioning.

In a recent question-and-answer session on Instagram, Omah Lay, who just rounded off his tour with American singer Justin Beiber, confirmed that Burna Boy was featured on the project.

However, a fan asked if Bruna Boy is still featured in the album.

“Is Burna Boy on da album?” the fan wrote.

“E dey but I go remove am,” Omah Lay replied.

The album is set to drop on June 24, 2022.
