OAP Tosyn Bucknor died too soon, former Top Radio employee stirs tributes

Tributes have been pouring in on Twitter on the late radio presenter Tosyn Bucknor.

The on-air personality died on November 19, 2018. She was 37 years old at the time of death.

Wale Adigun, a former colleague of Bucknor at Top Radio, stirred the tributes when he described her death as “too soon” on Tuesday night.

Adigun was among those who confirmed Bucknor’s death via his Twitter account in 2018.

“So full of life, excitement and always willing to lend a helping hand. This is so devastating!! Rest on Voice of Lagos. Rest on Tosyn Bucknor,” he had written.

Bucknor, a law graduate from the University of Lagos, was born with sickle cell anaemia.

She won many awards including the Nigerian Broadcaster’s Award, Future Awards and Exquisite Lady of the Year Award.

She was featured in TV shows like, Now We Are Married, Tinsel and several others.

Bucknor left Top Radio in February 2018 after seven years of employment and joined Inspiration FM.

Until her departure, she hosted the Top of the Morning show from Monday to Friday.
