Nigerians have reacted with disgust at the reappointment of Adamu Adamu as education minister.

President Muhammadu Buhari inaugurated his new cabinet on Wednesday with majority of the re-appointed members of his first term cabinet retaining their posts.

The ministers were inaugurated following the end of the Presidential Retreat for ministers-designate, presidential aides and other top government functionaries at the State House in Abuja.

Aside Adamu, others who retained their positions include Lai Mohammed as the Minister of Information and Culture, Chris Ngige as Minister of Labour and Employment, and Chibuike Amaechi as Minister of Transportation among others.

Adamu was part of those who Nigerians wanted out of Buhari’s new cabinet alongside Solomon Dalung and Adebayo Shittu who eventually did not make the list.

Nigerians have now called the reappointment of Adamu a shame and disaster to education.
