The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has released music artiste Ilerioluwa Oladimeji aka Mohbad who was arrested alongside his colleague Oniyide Azeez better known as Zinoleesky.
The singers were arrested by the NDLEA operatives in the early hours of Thursday over possession of illicit drugs.
Confirming the arrest, NDLEA spokesperson Femi Babfemi said: “Our men raided an area in Idado estate where Naira Marley’s boys stay. Some quantities of Cannabis and Molly were recovered from their apartment and car.”
“Six persons were arrested in all. Two females and four males,” he continued.
On Friday, Naira Marley took to Twitter to announce that Mohbad has been released by the agency while Zinoleesky is still in custody.
“NDLEA has released Mohbad after physically assaulting him, Zinoleesky is still in custody. The boys are under a lot of stress after being ambushed in the middle of the night with no warrant. I’m urgently returning to Lagos now now now,” he said.
