“I smoke loud. I don’t do drugs,” he said.

Loud is slang for potent weed. The term ‘loud’ comes from the fact that the drug marijuana has a strong smell, and since stronger marijuana strains tend to smell stronger than their counterpart, the term ‘loud’ was created for those type of strains.

Naira Marley wrote again advising fans against drug abuse.

“Marlians don’t do drugs,” he said, “unless it’s prescribed.”

Born Azeez Fashola, Naira Marley is being prosecuted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on an 11-count charge of conspiracy, possession of counterfeit cards and fraud.
