NCDC confirms six new coronavirus cases in Osun

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed six new coronavirus cases in Osun State.

The agency confirmed the cases in a tweet on Friday, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 190.

“Six new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Osun State, Nigeria,” it said.

“As of 11:00 am 3rd April there are 190 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. Twenty have been discharged with two deaths.”

Qed.ng had earlier on Thursday reported the new coronavirus cases in Osun, prompting drastic safety measures from Governor Gboyega Oyetola.

Osun now sits third with 20 confirmed cases on the log of states with most reported cases of the virus which has killed more than 50,000 people globally.

Lagos leads with 98 while the Federal Capital Territory follows with 38.
