A flier advertising the concert which was shared on Instagram on Saturday by Kim Oprah indicate that the concert was meant to be a drive-thru one but videos circulating on social media show Naira Marley on stage with fans in the venue.

This has sparked outrage on social media with many comparing their actions to that of Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele, who was on April 6, arrested and fined for hosting a party in her Lekki home in violation of the coronavirus lockdown which was in place at the time.

Naira Marley was a guest at the party which was organised in honour of Funke’s husband, singer, JJCSkillz, who had turned 43.

Unlike the actress and her husband, Naira Marley was pardoned on the condition that he issue a public apology to the Lagos State Government and contribute to the State’s anti-coronavirus campaign by helping to produce to a video to raise awareness against the pandemic.
