My meeting with blue-eyed woman, husband – Kwara first lady

Kwara Governors wife Dr Olufolake AbdulRazaq

Risikat Azeez, the woman who was allegedly driven out of her matrimonial home because of her blue eyes, has appealed to the first lady of Kwara State Olufolake AbdulRazaq to help get a job for her husband.

The mother of two girls, who are also blue-eyed, made the request during a meeting with Mrs. AbdulRazaq on Wednesday.

Speaking with Qed.ng in a phone conversation on Thursday evening, the wife of Governor Abdulrahman AbdulRazaq said Riskat came to her office along with her husband Abdulwasiu Omo-Dada and their two kids.

“She requested for the man to be helped with a job because that was a major cause of trouble in their marriage.

“It is important that we address the important things as they relate to them.

Yes, they were in my office. I had a Zoom meeting with them because I was not on seat at the time they came, but we had a very rewarding engagement,” Mrs AbdulRazaq said.

Riskat had claimed in media interviews that her husband abandoned her and the children because of their blue irises.

The man denied the allegation, saying his wife was disobedient to him.

The governor’s wife said she advised the couple to be mindful about what they say to people, so that they do not magnify the challenges in their marriage.

“Some people have been visiting them for unsolicited interviews and photoshoots.

“It is important they watch what they say. We will be monitoring them.

“The lady is learning to be a makeup artist at the Ajike People’s Support Centre.

“She also told me she took a course in dispensing patent medicine but we will find out if she is legally able to do that,” the first lady added.
