Mummy Calm Down boy’s mother speaks on motive behind viral video

Toluige Babalola mother of the little boy Oreofeoluwa Babalola who was seen in a video begging her to ‘calm down’ has broken her silence after the video went viral.

In an Instagram post, Mrs Babalola said she only made the video to show people how her son negotiates his way through punishment.

“This video was done to show how my intelligent son use to dramatics (sic) and negotiate any time you want to spank him not for abuse of any kind. Thank you everyone for your concern,” she wrote.

Oreofeoluwa gained popularity after a video of him went viral where he is seen urging his mother to ‘calm down and rest a little’ as she was getting ready to spank him for a misdemeanour.

Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Wednesday requested to meet him.
