Mourners exposed to coronavirus at Abba Kyari’s burial test negative – FCTA

Presidential aides and others who attended the funeral of the late Chief of Staff of the President, Abba Kyari, without being properly kitted have all tested negative for coronavirus (COVID-19).

Acting Secretary, Health and Human Services Secretariat, Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA), stated this in a statement on Sunday.

“The Health and Human Services Secretariat of the FCT Administration, is happy to announce that the individuals exposed during the burial of late Chief of staff to the President, Malam Abba Kyari, have completed their 14 days of isolation.

“Tests were conducted on them and they have all tested negative to COVID 19. They have been reunited with their families,” the statement read.

Kyari died of COVID-19 in Lagos and was buried on April 18 in Abuja.
