Senior Pastor, Daystar Christian Centre, Sam Adeyemi, has said that money is good as it affords one the capacity to acquire ‘and do many good things’.
In a tweet on Wednesday, the cleric said that although money is good, it also empowers one to ‘commit sin’ that one ‘could not afford before’.
Adeyemi advised that as one prays for more money, one should also pray not to be led into temptation.
“Money is good. It gives you the capacity to afford to acquire and do many good things. On the flip side of the coin, it also empowers you to commit sin you could not afford before.
“As you pray for more money, also pray, “Lead us not into temptation. Deliver us from evil,” he said.
The preacher’s son, David, recently graduated from Emory University, Atlanta, Georgia, US.
