The Association of Movie Producers (AMP) has suspended movie producer Adanma Luke following a boat accident that killed her crew members and actor Junior Pope.

In a statement signed by its national president Queen Blessing Ebigieson  on Monday, AMP said that a nine-man committee has been set up to investigate the activities that led to the death of Junior Pope and others.

The statement also added that Adanma has been advised to suspend all work, “pending on the submission of the investigations report and the final decision is taken.”

AMP also sympathised with the families of those who lost their lives as a result of the boat mishap.

Junior Pope was confirmed dead on Wednesday night after several attempts to resuscitate him failed. The actor alongside other crew members drowned in Anam River on their way back from the set of Another Side of Life, a movie produced by Adanma Luke.
