Mayorkun’s other missing jewellery recovered in Calabar

The second piece of jewellery belonging to singer Mayorkun has been recovered and returned to the Grand Hotel in Calabar.

Fellow singer Iyanya disclosed this in a post via X on Thursday.

In his post, he expressed gratitude to the individual who brought it back, saying, “Thank you to the guy who brought this back this morning to THE GRAND HOTEL CALABAR. Just returned now is 1 of 2 of #Mayorkun jewellery. We have one more to go. My brothers, if you have the second one please help us return it.”

The return of the missing item comes after Mayorkun’s public vow on Tuesday not to perform in Calabar again following the disappearance of an undisclosed item during his recent concert.

Mayorkun had shared his dissatisfaction on social media, indicating that the overall experience was less than enjoyable.

Responding to Mayorkun’s post, Iyanya went a step further by offering compensation to anyone who facilitates the return of the stolen item.

Hours after his tweet, Iyanya made another post announcing that one of the items had been returned.

He wrote: “Thank you the guy who brought this back this morning to THE GRAND HOTEL CALABAR. Just returned now is 1 of 2 of @Mayorkun jewery. We have one more to go, my brothers if you have the second one please help us return it.

“This one is still not been found, please check around, I’m sure we have it somewhere and will please return the second one to our brother, before he leaves Calabar. Just got Grand Hotel Calabar and drop it there, there’s a reward waiting for you on arrival.”
