Pop singer, Peruzzi, says he could not shake hands with fellow label star, Mayorkun, at an airport for fear of the novel coronavirus (Covid-19).
The 30-year-old, who is signed to Davido Music Worldwide (DMW), revealed this on Friday in a tweet.
“Just met @IamMayorKun at the airport. Omo no handshake, na 🤘🏾 we do,” he said.
Mayorkun responded, saying: “Set awon, ‘Say no to Coronavirus.’”
Peruzzi’s comments come as Nigeria has joined close to 50 countries which have recorded cases of Covid-19.
An Italian has been quarantined in Yaba, Lagos after he fell ill on February 26.
