Mark Zuckerberg returns to Nigeria, takes selfie with Buhari

Facebook founder, Mark Zuckerberg, returned to Nigeria on Friday for a meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo at the Presidential Villa.

An excited President Buhari took a selfie with Zuckerberg, who also presented him a Facebook drone.

Zuckerberg, 32, participated in the Aso Villa Demo Day, an event organised by the Buhari administration for Nigerians to showcase their ideas for possible investment support from the government.

Zuckerberg first arrived Nigeria on Tuesday for an interaction with tech developers and entrepreneurs.

He later travelled to Kenya for a similar interaction with public and private sector stakeholders.

Some Nigerians thought he had snubbed Nigerian government officials.

Ditching his signature T-shirt for the Aso Rock visit, Zuckerberg was quoted as saying his formal outfit was “Out of respect for the formality of meeting a president.”
