Many have been feared dead on Friday when a tanker exploded in front of the University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH), Edo State.
About 13 vehicles have been reported burnt in the fire.
The fuel laden tanker was said to have exploded after a collision with a truck and a commercial bus.
Reports say that the Edo State Fire Service has arrived the scene.
Sources said the fire started at about 5:30am.
