Lewis Hamilton lands deal with Tommy Hilfiger

Four-time Formula One world champion, Lewis Hamilton, has announced his excitement as the new brand ambassador for popular fashion brand, Tommy Hilfiger.

The 33-year-old British driver took to his Instagram page on Thursday morning to share the good news.

“I’m so excited to announce that I am now the new Global Menswear Ambassador for @tommyhilfiger. It has been a long time coming, It is an honour to be a part of the family and I can’t wait for you to see the campaign we’ve been working hard on,” he wrote.

American brand, Tommy Hilfiger, in a post on social media, emphasised the incredible racing career of Lewis that has been built with passion and dedication.

“We’re proud to stand beside him today as we introduce him as our menswear ambassador. Welcome to the family,” the brand wrote.

Hamilton’s current deal with car makers, Mercedes, expires at the end of the season but he is optimistic about the extension of the deal as both parties have expressed their willingness to continue the partnership.

He is expected to pen a three-year deal reportedly worth £120million.
