Leicester City coach, Claude Puel, has expressed his delight after Kelechi Iheanacho’s showing in Tuesday’s 2-0 defeat of Fleetwood Town.
The striker put on a show against the Cod Army at King Power Stadium, getting on the scoresheet twice.
And the Frenchman got his wish for a more proficient display as the Foxes sealed their place in the Fourth Round of the competition.
“I was happy with his game and he showed a good attitude, worked hard for his team-mates and got between the lines.
“His first goal showed a lot of quality and the second was a fantastic move between him and Riyad. It was a good reward for him and the team.”
Iheanacho, on his own part, was equally thrilled to get on the scoresheet.
