Gospel music star, Lara George, is celebrating the 14th anniversary of her marriage to Gbenga George, a legal practitioner and music entrepreneur.
The couple tied the knot in 2004 and held their wedding reception at the University of Lagos.
Lara, a member of the defunct KUSH, took to Instagram on Wednesday to share pictures of herself and her husband. She also sent a message of endearment to him.
“14years today! Happy anniversary to me and my bobo! Seems like just yesterday when we started out. More grace, more joy, more love #ASliceofHeaven,” she wrote.
Lara and Gbenga are blessed with two children – boy named Adeoba and a girl named Tiaraoluwa.
In an interview with The Nation published in February this year, Lara said her husband is her biggest fan and one who inspires her to do what she loves.
“He is my biggest fan and inspiration, who encourages me to keep going. I make bold to say he is the reason why I am here today. He is always pushing me to the studios, to write more songs and do what I love most – music,” she said.
