A former chairman of Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) in Taraba State, Joel Daniel, has regained his freedom.
Mr Daniel was kidnapped on Wednesday by unknown gunmen at his residence in Mayo Dasa area of Jalingo, capital of Taraba.
A family member of the lawyer, ThankGod Andetarang, confirmed his release to Channels Television.
It is not known yet if any ransom was paid to secure his release.
Mr Andetarang said Daniel was released without any physical injuries on Thursday evening.
