Minister of state, labour and employment Festus Keyamo on Friday night announced his late father Matthias Keyamo will be buried on April 23 in Effurun, Delta State.
He posted the funeral plan to Instagram, thanking President Muhammadu Buhari, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and others for reaching out to him personally over his loss.
“Notice to my friends and associates who are too numerous to reach personally. Also to thank Mr. President, Vice-President, the Chief of Staff, the SGF, Governors, Ministers, Heads of Agencies, business tycoons, etc, – all who called personally and sent messages of condolences. God bless you all,” he said.
Pa Keyamo died at the age of 83 on Saturday, March 5 in Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta from where the family hails.
Born on August 23, 1938, in Erovie Quarters in Effurun, Pa Keyamo was later raised in Kaduna and Ilaro, Ogun State where he met and married Caroline Keyamo (nee Ogunjobi).
