Actor and content creator Kenzy has been named the official digital host for the 2026 edition of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA).

He revealed the news on Instagram on Thursday, adding that he would handle social media coverage for the award ceremony.

“THE OFFICIAL DIGITAL HOST FOR AMVCA 2026 ✨

Kenzy takes over from actress and television host Osas Ighodaro, who served as the official digital host for the 2025 edition of the awards. Osas was widely recognised for her red carpet coverage and online engagement during the 11th AMVCA ceremony.

The 12th edition of the AMVCA is scheduled to hold on May 9, in Lagos. Organisers earlier announced that comedian Bovi Ugboma and South African actress Nomzamo Mbatha will host the ceremony.

This year’s awards will feature 32 categories, including jury decided and audience voted sections, with new indigenous language categories also introduced for North and Central Africa.
