Self-styled investigative journalist, Kemi Olunloyo, has denied receiving money from the winner of 2019 Big Brother Naija show, Mercy Eke, to attack fellow ex-housemate, Tacha.

Fans of both reality TV stars have been engaging one another fiercely on social media.

In another twist to it, Ms. Olunloyo, a vocal critic of Tacha, said in a tweet on Saturday that she could not have been paid for such, adding that she had not even met Mercy in person.

“I hear @real_mercyeke paid mE to tarnish Tacha. 1st, I don’t tarnish people, I report about people. I don’t even know Mercy personally. 2nd, congrats to Mercy on winning #bbnaija2019 and all your success. She’s now a paid partner for Ciroc,” she wrote.

Tacha and Mercy both recently signed endorsement deals with vodka brand, Ciroc.

While Mercy will grace the brand’s colada flavour, Tacha signed to be the company’s face for its red berry flavour.

Many still believe there is bad blood between the duo who have only been seen together once since the show ended on October 6.

Tacha was disqualified from the show on September 27 for physically attacking Mercy during an altercation.
