She said her reason for the change was to signal the closure of her media organisation.

“Changed my handle to my name a few moments ago at 4:32 pm 10/28/19. I’m rebranding my SM assets and the final closure of @hnnafrica my old news company due to my persecution arrest forcing me to lose my domain. I will now LOSE my VERIFICATION till @verified resumes,” she wrote.

Ms Olunloyo used to be known as @HNNAfrica on Twitter but has now changed it to reflect her name @KemiOlunloyo.

She added that she had contacted Google and Wikipedia to notify them of the change.

“Nothing more important than protecting my name. I have contacted @Google and @Wikipedia who all have me as @HNNAfrica on Twitter. Thanks everyone,” she wrote.
