Award-winning Kannywood actress, Nafisat Abdullahi, has knocked President Muhammadu Buhari for condemning the killing of a man in Lagos while allegedly keeping silent over the killings going on in Zamfara State.

Kolade Johnson was fatally shot by a policeman attached to the anti-cultism unit of the Lagos State Police Command on Sunday.

In a series of messages posted on Twitter, President Buhari expressed regret at the extrajudicial killing.

He added that his government will not tolerate the brutalization of Nigerians or violation of their rights.

“Any law enforcement officer or government functionary caught in this act will be visited with the full weight of the law,” the president tweeted.

Unimpressed by Buhari’s message, Nafisat, in a tweet on Wednesday berated him for not talking about “the hundreds or thousands being killed in Zamfara and other parts of the north.”

She accused Buhari of fear and asked if he was alright.

The 28-year-old also called out the president for condoling with victims of tragedy in other country, ignoring to those in Nigeria.

According to the Sai Wata Rana actress, “Your own people are dying, in your own country. You won’t tweet about it and you’d rather show sympathy on someone from another part of the world who clearly doesn’t know or even needs you.”

She added that no one deserves to die the way people are dying, “but the point is, do you see them sympathizing with you and your problems? Do they even know you exist?
