The body of actor Junior Pope has arrived in his hometown Ikpogwu Ukehe, in Nsukka, Enugu State for burial.
The body was accompanied by his wife, children and other family members on Friday.
The burial mass is holding at Saint Peter’s Catholic Church, Ukehe. Interment will follow immediately after the burial of the actor.
The burial arrangements will be wrapped up with a thanksgiving mass at Saint Peter’s Catholic Church, Ukehe, on May 20.
The 43-year-old was confirmed dead on the night of April 10 after several attempts to resuscitate him failed. The actor alongside four others drowned in Anam River on their way back from the set of Another Side of Life, a movie produced by Adanma Luke.
