The search for the next Miss World Nigeria has begun, with organisers holding auditions to select contestants for the pageant.
A panel made up of Ada Agwu Eme, Miss World 2022; Joanna Omolara, Miss West Africa 2014; and Dr. Abana Onyeka conducted a live audition for aspiring contestants. The session was moderated by Tolu Ajibola.
The virtual auditions took place on April 11, with a physical hosting point at Silverbird Galleria in Lagos and an option for participants to join online.
After the exercise, the organisers shared an update on Instagram, writing, “The journey to the crown has officially begun.
And somewhere in these moments, a queen is emerging.
“From preparation to performance, the virtual auditions gave us a glimpse of the passion, confidence, and purpose these young women carry.
“Guided by a distinguished panel and moderator @jojolara.x @iamonyeka_ @ada_eme @sasilulu every moment was carefully observed, every story truly heard, and every potential thoughtfully considered.
“Get ready… the unveiling of delegates moving to the next stage is coming.
“Stay with us. This is only the beginning.”
They also acknowledged the role of the panel and moderator, stating, “Meet the women behind the process.
“A distinguished group of industry leaders and a poised moderator, bringing experience, insight, and intention to every moment of the virtual auditions.
“Every story was heard. Every detail was observed. Every potential was carefully considered.”
