Nollywood veteran Joke Silva has remembered her sister Olabisi Silva two years after she died.

The 59-year-old shared a video of Silva in an Instagram post on Friday.

She said she lived a life of incredible impact.

“Hey Bis…oyinbo po.😅Miss you .Rest in Power and in peace.🙏🏾My sister Olabisi Obafunke lived a life of incredible impact. Pls check previous post instafam,” she wrote.

Joke shared the programme that will be used to mark Silva’s remembrance on Instagram on Thursday.

Silva was the founder and artistic director of the Centre for Contemporary Art (CCA) in Lagos.

She opened CCA in 2007 and later Asiko International Art School in Lagos.

After her first degree in Foreign Languages in Paris, she earned her two-year MA in visual arts (curating and commissioning of contemporary art) at the Royal College of Art in London.

Joke led friends, family and members of the Nigerian art community on February 22, 2019 to celebrate the life of Silva with an intimate ceremony at Freedom Park in Lagos.

She died of cancer in 2019.
