Spokesman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos, Joe Igbokwe, has come under attack on social media for lashing out at President Muhammadu Buhari’s critics.
Igbokwe had said on Monday as a guest on Channels Television’s Politics Today that anyone who says President Buhari was not doing well is ‘a liar from the pit of hell’.
“You (PDP) were there for 16 years and we didn’t see anything. In the midst of plenty, I cannot lay my hands on anything,” Igbokwe said.

“Support your leader, don’t be a distraction. Anybody who tells you Buhari is not doing well is a liar from the pit of hell given where we are coming from.”
Nigerians have launched attacks at Igbokwe for his comments. They have also criticised the national leader of APC, Bola Tinubu, a former Lagos governor, who is said to have groomed Igbokwe.
