Is this why Chelsea players can’t concentrate on football? Jose Mourinho’s daughter stuns at GQ Men of the Year Awards

Jose Mourinho daughterChelsea Manager, Jose Mourinho, attended the GQ Men of the Year Awards at London’s Royal Opera House on Monday with his 18-year-old daughter, Matilde.

The Portuguese tactician got the Editor’s Special Award of the Year but all eyes were on the teenager who was a sight for sore eyes.

Matlide, who is a long-term friend of One Direction singer, Niall Horan, made the stiffest of necks turn in a striking racy ensemble, which drew attention to her lean and slender frame.

The flirty black dress, complete with a scooped neckline and a short skirt hem, was styled further with an envy-inducing pair of black strappy heels and coordinating clutch.

With her golden-tinted tresses swept into a chic updo, the pretty brunette looked nothing short of glamorous in her racy style choice.

Her 52-year-old Jose cut a handsome figure in a tailored two-piece suit, teamed with a bow-tie and crisp white shirt, to complete the father-daughter glam show.

Turning heads as they passed by, the father and daughter duo appeared to be in great spirits as they headed towards the grand venue.

The Portuguese – who is married to Matilde Faria – picked up the Editor’s Special Award at the ceremony hosted by legendary actor Samuel L. Jackson.

The father and daughter duo were joined at the glitzy event by a host of household sporting names including British Formula One superstar Lewis Hamilton, Ashes hero Stuart Broad and former England legend-turned Match of the Day presenter, Gary Lineker.

Matilde hit the headlines earlier this year when she was photographed partying with 1D’s Niall, fuelling romance rumours.

A representative for Horan told MailOnline that the pair are just friends, stating: ‘They’re not dating, they’re just friends.’

Matilde is one of Mourinho’s two children; he also has a son called Jose Mario Jr.

In an interview with The Big Issue in May, Jose said his wife and children are the bosses at home.

“My wife and my son and my daughter have the biggest influence on me, that’s for sure,’ he confessed. ‘And why? Because they are the bosses and control everything in the house!

“And in relation to my job they don’t try to influence me but at the end of the day they have a big influence because when it comes to make big decisions – where to go, where to work, when to change – on this kind of thing they have a big influence on me.”

Mourinho has so far endured a torrid start to the 2015/2016 English Premier League season.

His Chelsea are defending champions but the players can’t seem to put a foot right, losing two of the four matches played so far.

Their last match was a devastating home loss to Crystal Palace.

It was the second time Mourinho will lose an EPL home match in two spells at the club.
