Founder of Latter Rain Assembly, Pastor Tunde Bakare, says he will succeed President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023.
The cleric, in clips circulating on Twitter, is seen saying that nothing could stop him from becoming the next president.
Clips of the sermon which was given in February 2018 was culled up late Sunday and has been gaining attention on social media.

Bakare, in the video, said God had prepared him for the nation’s top job for more than 30 years.
“I will succeed Buhari as President of Nigeria, nothing can change it. I am number 16, Buhari is number 15. I never said it to you before. I am saying it now and nothing can change it,” he said.
“In the name of Jesus, he is number 15. I am number 16. To this end was I born and for this purpose came I into the world. I have prepared you for this for more than 30 years.”
Bakare was Buhari’s running mate in the 2011 presidential election.
The preacher’s statement was said to have been targetted at having President Buhari drop Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and pick him as his running mate ahead of the 2019 elections.
