Afro-pop singer, Yemi Alade, has vowed never to wear a bikini again.
The ‘Johnny’ singer shared a picture of herself in bikini on Tuesday on Instagram; apparently displeased with her looks, she wrote: “Maybe I should tie ankara wrapper to swim.”
She posted another picture in same bikini on Wednesday and vowed never to wear one again.
“Ok, I promise never to wear a bikini again in my life,” she wrote.
The 30-year-old is not often seen in bikini.
Yemi Alade, in October, announced she had submitted her latest album, Woman of Steel, for consideration ahead of Grammy Awards 2019.
The singer has acquired over a million global streams. She is also the first Afrobeat female singer to have over 100 million views on a single video, her hit single ‘Johnny’ released in 2013.
She has won several international awards such as BET, MTV African Music Award and MOBO awards for her works.
