Singer Simisola Kosoko popularly known as Simi has said that she would be anxious if her daughter decides to pursue a career in music.
The 33-year-old made this known in an interview shared on Instagram on Friday.
“I’ll be anxious if she decides to do music because I don’t want her to feel the pressure coming from parents that have done music. Thinking there’s a standard she has to follow. I didn’t have to do that, I was my only competition. I want her to be original,” she said.
Simi gained prominence in 2014 after releasing her single ‘Tiff’ which earned her several awards. She is married to fellow singer Adekunle Gold.
