Founder of Salvation Ministries David Ibiyeomie has threatened to deal with broadcaster Daddy Freeze if he ever insults the presiding bishop of Living Faith Church Worldwide (alias Winners Chapel) David Oyedepo again.
During his sermon on Sunday at his Port Harcourt-based church, Ibiyeomie alleged that Daddy Freeze was a Somalian not a Nigerian.
Although an on-air personality, Daddy Freeze regularly attacks clerics, alleging they teach false doctrines and rip people off their money.
Appearing disgusted, Ibiyeomie said about Freeze, mentioning him by name: “If he insults me, I won’t mind; but insult Oyedepo, that bast**d who is his father? Does Daddy Freeze have a father? That bastard who is born by a Somalian. The day I hear him insult Oyedepo again I’ll deal with him.
“Oyedepo will not talk but I can’t be alive you insult my father. If he has a father let him show us his father’s picture. Someone they gave birth to in a ship. Does he look like a Nigerian? I curse the day he was born.”
Oyedepo who is top on the list of preachers regularly criticised by the OAP has never responded publicly.
Daddy Freeze describes himself as a scripture teacher, convener of #FreeTheSheeple movement and leader of #FreeNation in Christ.
His latest criticism of Oyedepo was on September 5 when the preacher tweeted that “the only way to a fruitful marriage is submission on the part of the wife”.
Freeze reacted on Instagram saying: “Dear Bishop Oyedepo, submission goes both ways. It’s not reserved for women alone, rather both the husband and wife MUST submit to one another.”
